Get Artsy Fever
In this area of the program the kids will create art using the animals as models. There will be painting, clay modeling, pastels, paper mache, stained glass, and other mediums from which your children can choose. We will be making a different piece of art every day. Make sure children wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty, closed toe shoes, sun block, and a hat. Either gender is allowed. For ages 9-12.
Observational Photography
We will spend about three hours outside photographing animals and their habitats. We will get different views from our viewing platforms. We will then move on to the building and landscapes. Then we will go to our special computer rooms and upload the pictures on to the computer and print them out to use in a scrapbook that you can take home with you.
Elderly Explorations
In this class elderly folks from 65 years and up get to go on a private tour around the zoo and get answer on any questions that they might have on any of the animals or anything about the zoo
