Cheetah

Picture
Zootastic's wonderful wild cheetahs are something you don't want to miss! The cheetah's domestic behavior is straight out of Africa. You should stalk on over to the cheetahs and watch them play, eat, stalk, roll, and best of all, run. All will be amazed by the speed and talent you will feel like you are in Africa yourself. the thrill and adventure will make you run for the cheetahs.

Elephant

Picture
Stomp on over to Africa to see the huge but graceful elephants. There has been a new born baby elephant from the mother named Kenya, and the baby's name is Nile. Elephants reproduce about once or twice a year, so come see this rare sight. An elephant has giant ears in the shape of Africa. The massive creature uses its ears to fan off in the heat. Stomp on over to Africa to see the elephants and the new baby.

Nubian Ibex

Picture
Come and see Zootastic's only endangered African goat, the Nubian ibex. This creature lives in the harsh Nubian Desert in east Africa and can run up to 30 miles an hour to escape from its carnivorous predators. This ibex has large horns and gripped hooves to climb rocky, steep cliffs. You can see the Nubian ibex munching on leaves and grass here in Zootastic's Africa exhibit. See you in Africa!

Chimpanzee

Picture
Walk, run, climb, swing on over to the species you’re most related to, the chimpanzee.  They're the coolest, most fun, awesome, interesting animal in all of Zootastic and the world.  They are the ones you want to be, they have hands for hands and feet to hang onto almost anything.  They have long arms but short legs so they can walk and run on either all fours or only feet.  Never would you forget the sighting of the baby at its mother’s side.  If you visit which you pretty much will or at least should, you will see their crazy habitat and chimpanzees climbing all over the ropes, vines, and trees.  Run on over to the Africa exhibit and see the animal that is one of the most lovable creatures you will never want to miss!

Flamingo

Picture
The flamingo is a very interesting bird because they turn pink from the food they eat.  So this means that our baby flamingos will be white for a while.  They are worth seeing, especially during breeding season because they are very active. The flamingos move in a series of head turning, marching, and calling they will also clean their feathers to make them look attractive. But still most of the time the flamingos will still be in large groups because they are very social birds. We recommend stopping by to see our social flamingos when visiting  Zootastic.

Giraffe

Picture
Come reach high in the trees where the giraffe will be waiting for you to see. Did you know that the giraffe has its long neck so it can reach high in to the trees to get there food and sometimes even there water from the spiny acacia leafs. The giraffe is a great animal to watch because you will never know what they do next. When you come to Africa the giraffe is always there waiting for you to come and visit.

Royal Antelope

Picture
Jump on over to see the adorable royal antelope.  They can jump a distance up to nine and a half feet.  They breed in November and December, so we have a new baby named Dixie.  When royal antelopes are disturbed they crouch down and hide under cover. Come over and see this adorable sight because you won't see this in the wild!
